Pieter was diagnosed with MS in 2006 and is an active member and supporter of the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform (EMSP). In addition to his extensive work with EMSP, he is a self-employed freelance trainer and consultant, with broad professional experience as a speaker and has experience working with different stakeholders like patient organisations and pharma companies.

Pieter helps and advices Pharma companies and other institutions that work in the Health care arena to improve communications, raise awareness, content creation & review, co-production of information and services.

Pieter has a special interest in health data and how this can be used in improving patients’ lives and expiences.
